This also includes the ability to customize the trip, e.g. by staying longer in a city, for which we will be glad to submit a quote.

Day 1 Los Angeles/New York to Buenos AiresDepart on your journey this afternoon and fly overnight to South America.
Day 2 Arrival in Buenos AiresAfter arrival early in the morning, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon join a 3-hour, small-group tour. At the first stop, you will discover the history of “May Square,” where some of the most important historical events took place. You can see its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Then, head to May Avenue (Avenida de Mayo) and admire the oldest residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and check out its antiques shops and picturesque buildings. You will continue your tour and live and feel the original tango in the neighborhood of La Boca. Next, visit “Madero Port” and its exclusive docks. Pass through the Retiro neighborhood and then see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area. Finally, arrive at Recoleta where you can visit the cemetery where Evita Peron is buried, before returning to your hotel.
Day 3 Buenos AiresEnjoy a free morning. No visit to Buenos Aires is complete without the Tango! Your tango tour will meet at an iconic French-style coffee house on Avenida de Mayo, where you will learn about the origins and history of tango (and discover one of the most traditional bars in the city). Then, you will head toward a milonga tango hall in town, a dance hall where locals go to sharpen up their skills (and maybe you'll be inspired to try some tango steps yourself!). Your tango tour finishes there, where you can take a seat, grab a drink, and watch local life unfold as the night goes on.
Day 4 Tigre and River DeltaLeave the city today and travel through the residential neighborhoods such as Vicente Lopez, Olivos (the private quarters for Argentine Presidents), Martinez, and San Isidro up to the town of Tigre, along the Rio de la Plata. There you will enjoy a ride on board a catamaran through the Parana River Delta. We will get back over the Panamericana Highway up to the city of Buenos Aires. The afternoon is free.
Day 5 Buenos Aires to RomeToday is a free day for you to enjoy the city on your own. Walk the neighborhood and do some ‘people watching’ from a local café. Or visit some of your favorite monuments again before being transferred to the airport early in the evening. Overnight flight from Buenos Aires to Rome.
Day 6 Arrival in RomeAfter crossing the Atlantic, arrive in Rome late in the afternoon. You will be met and transferred to your hotel for the next 3 nights.
Day 7 RomeGet the most of Ancient Rome during this full day tour. First part of this guided tour will be by bus and by foot, taking you beyond the city walls: through the ancient tunnels of Rome's catacombs, along the rustic Appian Way and under the arches of the aqueducts of antiquity. Enjoy a three hour first part tour that provides a unique perspective on ancient Rome. Together with your guide, you will walk the ancient Roman countryside and explore the underground catacombs, and examine the masterful structure of Rome's remaining aqueducts. Then meet again outside the Coliseum underground station and your guide will not only educate you on the history, politics, and architecture of the Eternal City, but will also make the life and times of ancient Rome come to life on a stage second-to-none in the world – the Coliseum and Roman Forum. Make the unparalleled experiences of gladiators, emperors, slaves, Vestal Virgins, senators, merchants, gods and goddesses your own.
Day 8 RomeA 2 day pass for the Hop on/Hop Off City Tour bus is yours. City Sightseeing Rome will allow you to travel through history and visit the places where the ancient Romans lived their social and political life as well as to admire the great Papal Rome, with its fine buildings and beautiful churches, by just sitting comfortable on board our buses. You can see the most beautiful Christian places like St. Peter's Basilica and Santa Maria Maggiore.
